Being a tutor at Five is both challenging and rewarding.
In your role, you'll be expected to multi-task the tutoring of up to five students, be a good role model & mentor young people, monitor students’ progress & provide feedback on their work, communicate effectively with parents and, document impact.

Selection Criteria
To be a tutor at Five Tuition, you must:
Have completed or be willing to complete a Working with Children Check.
Have excellent communication skills.
Have recently completed VCE — or an equivalent examination, and achieved very good results.
Have an interest in and an aptitude for teaching / tutoring / coaching / sharing knowledge.
Be passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people.

Application Process
Applicants who meet the criteria will be offered an interview. At the interview, the conversation will generally focus on three areas:
Your 'teaching' experience (For e.g. a time when you taught a group of students, coached a younger sibling or enlightened a friend/audience on a difficult concept.)
Your reasons for wanting to work at Five Tuition.
Questions that you may have.
If the interview goes well, we will offer you the opportunity to observe an experienced tutor in action. The purpose of the observation is for you to learn first-hand if tutoring at Five Tuition is a commitment you’re comfortable undertaking.
